How to handle a knotted gun

Knotted gun

The Non-Violence Project Foundation (NVPF) was founded in 1993 with the goal of training people in conflict management. Today, they have educated close to ten million people worldwide, but since violence sadly takes on new expressions due to challenges from the digital world, the organisation needed to gear up.

As a strategic partner for NVPF, we saw a need to meet the younger generation on their terms. As part of the solution, we created “Knot Ok” – a simple, conceptual way to stand up for respect and humanity by clearly marking that a certain behaviour is unacceptable.

In addition to giving vulnerable individuals a tool to rally around, Knot Ok is also a long-awaited way for sponsors to approach the gaming industry from a positive angle; here you can take a stand for the good, by addressing unacceptable behaviour on a platform relevant to the sponsor.

"The knotted gun has an iconic, world-famous shape that must not be changed."

"To meet a young audience on a digital playing field, we needed to speak their language, without diluting the brand. Knot Ok was the result – a fast and confident way of building the brand."
